Ref:AISMA's letters No.CEC51/ AISM//MOBD/ Design/1 dtd. 29.11.2024.
Please find enclosed herewith copy of letter received from All India Station Masters' Association regarding Change of designation- SS to SMR.
The key changes Proposed by AISMA are as follows:
1. Non-Gazetted Cadre:
o Level-6: Station Master (unchanged)
• Level-7: Station Superintendent Deputy Station Manager
Level-8: Station Manager (SMR)
2. Gazetted Cadre:
• Level-8: Station Manager (Gazetted)
• Level-9 and above: Station Director (SD)
In view of the above, it is requested to examine the proposal and provide your comments to facilitate a decision in the matter.
